One of Cordial Creative’s earliest (and most loved!) client projects was a new uniform for Australian Biathlon. The uniform consisted of a full-length competition ski suit with sublimated graphics and branded snow jacket.

Rich black, combined with bold shades of red, orange and yellow were chosen to stand out clearly within white snowscapes, and also to represent unique contrasting colours of Australia’s red centre landscapes.

Dynamic patterns of circles and dots were developed to represent the circular targets used in shooting stages of biathlon competition and reflect the motion and speed of cross-country skiing.

Careful consideration was given to the use of the uniform, with the Australian Biathlon name positioned strategically on the forearm. This ensured ‘Australian Biathlon’ was visible when the athlete was aiming for the target during competition, and potentially being photographed.

The overall uniform offered Australian Biathlon competitors and supporters a distinctive and contemporary team branding to support their competition and represent Australia with pride.
